  • Hi Pauline
    I tried www.rootsireland.ie/ & ww.irishgenealogy.ie/ with no luck.
findmypast.ie has some records for Margaret Scanlon from Kilrush around 1808 but they are births rather than marriages: (You need to purchase credit to view the records).
    one born 1811 died 1891
    one born 1809 died 1895
    one born 1800 died 1898
    one born 1813 died 1881

There are some Daniel Boland birth records on rootsireland but all from counties other than Clare

  • Hi Col Pauline here sorry the reply has been a long time coming but I am new to the system and it has taken me all this time to find out how to post a reply phew!. I have a line of Boland and Haslam and Scanlon with hard copies from various sites starting from the UK census that took the Boland family back to Ballynote West. If you would like the copies for future reference and for other searchers let me know your email address and I will scan them into an email and send them to you, this may also help in tracing my line.

    Thanks & Regards
