Margaret NOUD, born 1818 at Kilrush, came to Sydney Australia in 1842 with her brother WILLIAM NOUD and sister in law.
She married Edward Gallice/Gillis/Gillies. She is my 3 great grandmother.
Any information on the NOUD or CURRAN family members appreciated.

Hi,
Thank you very much for your message.
Have you tried looking in the land records pertaining to Ireland in the 19th century to see what Nouds and Currans were recorded in the parish? There are two:
The Tithe Applotment Books (1823-38) and the later Griffith's Valuation (1848-64)
There were 2 Nouds recorded in Kilrush parish in 1825:
However, there are none in 1852. Here are the Nouds that were recorded in Co. Kildare:
There were no Currans recorded in Kilrush in the Tithes, however here are the Currans in Co. Kildare:
Curran was a very popular name in Griffith?s:
Have you tried looking in church records for information on the family? Kilrush civil parish belongs to Suncroft Catholic parish and parish records there begin as early as 1805 so you should be able to find Margaret and William?s birth records.
As you can see from the above link Kildare Genealogy have copies available. If you would like to contact them here is their email, however a fee may apply: kildaregenealogy@iol.ie
Alternatively you could try writing to the local parish priest for possible assistance: http://www.kandle.ie/parishes/suncroft/
There were still some Nouds living in Kilrush by the 1901 census:
