My great grandmother was Jane Ann NASH from Kilrush, Clare (birth possibly 1847). Her parents were John NASH and Jane QUILTY. Jane Ann came to Australia (swam???) and married Patrick HUMPHRIES in 1870. I will be visiting Kilrush for 4 days from 24th June, 2013.
I would love to find out details of where and when Jane Ann was born and lived. I cannot pinpoint her family from Griffith's Valuation.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Did you find the information you were looking for? My husband's grandmother was Susan Nash, sister of Jane Ann Nash, and I have lots of information about the family. Susan, her sister Harriet and the youngest brother, George, all migrated to Australia in 1881, and Susan and Harriet initially stayed with Jane Ann Humphreys in Watson's Bay.
However, I don't know where the family lived in Kilrush. My husband and I are planning to visit Kilrush in June, so we would appreciate any information anyone has on where the family lived.
