I will visit Naas the weekend of Jan 9th with my 91 year old father. His father Patrick Murrin (b. 1882 approx) was from Nass. He was involved with horses and joined the 8th Irish Hussars as a young man, ending up in England.  Any thoughts on family connections  my email is chad_murrin@msn.com

  • Col - thanks for your quick reply  I now spoke further to my father, who is 91 but pretty sharp  I had it wrong.  He is Patrick Murrin.  His father was James Thomas Murrin, who died aged 82 in we think 1964  that makes d.o.b. Around 1882  sorry for the misinformation.  Would you be able to check again? Best regards Chad Murrin
