  • Good afternoon Clare.

Thanks for your interest in my research.

You say Francis has replied to me but I am unsure how to retrieve this reply.

There is only one message in my tesco.net mail box and it was from yourselves warning me of an e mail from an unregistered box. Is that it? If so then I deleted it.

Would it be possible to resend this message to me at geoff.hewitson@tesco.net

    Regards

    Geoff

    --------------------------------

Ref your post without Julias surname it is not possible to trace her baptism in Ireland. I see the family in 1861 census but not after this in wales.

I would suggest you get their sons William birth record which was registered in January quarter in Cardiff Glamorganshire. Volume 11a Page 275 - you will get Julias maiden name from this & then be able to hopefully trace her origins in Ireland.

  • Hi Clare

Many thanks for that and I have since replied thanking Frances for the advice.

The many derivations of the Conley, connolly name make it difficult to trace but I hope to get there in the end.

    Regards

    Geoff
