I checked the 1849 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Inistioge civil parish and there was one Fitzpatrick listed Matthew Fitzpatrick in Coolrainy townland http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths/kilkenny/inistioge.htm Not sure how he is connected to Michael Fitzpatrick.
It would be very difficult to track possible connections. Have you taken a DNA test? You may get matches to 4th-5th cousins connected to your Fitzpatrick or Quigley lines. The matches could be anywhere in the world including Ireland.
