I am looking for any information on Thomas Donaghey (died 1836 in Quigleys Point) and his wife Mary (died 1830 in Quigleys Point). They are my 3rd great grandparents.

Dear Linda
Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
Quigley?s Point is located in the Civil Parish of Moville Upper. Records for the corresponding RC parish of Iskaheen and Moville begin in September 1858. As this is the case, there will be no record of any baptism, marriage or burial in this parish before this time. As you probably know, civil registration began in Ireland in 1864 and before this time we are dependent on parish records. These parish records begin at different times for different parishes. In the case of Moville they begin too late for your search.
There are a few Donaghey entries listed on the Tithe Applotment Books (1823-1832):
There are 2 records listed for children born to a father Thomas Donaghey and mother first name Mary on rootsireland.ie; a baptism record for a child, Mary in 1839 and a birth record for a Mary Ann in 1908. As this is a subscription site, I am limited in what I can see. While these are different families, it might be a good idea to have a look to see if the names of sponsors mean anything to you.
Best wishes
Clare Doyle
