The 1872 civil marriage record for William and Hannah/Hanora shows that William's father was Martin. However, when I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland the earliest William Lalor/Lawlor baptismal record in Co. Laois with father Martin was in 1854 and the record was in Portlaoise. I do see a Lawlor family in Mountrath father Martin Lawlor mother Mary or Margaret Meredith. I'm wondering if either his record was not on the Mountrath register or it was missed in the transcription process. https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0718

I found a marraige for William Lawlor and Hannah Clooney on 12/02/1872 in Abbeyleix Co Laois, note various spelling of names and perhaps Norah is actually named Hannah, it was not unusual for children to be named but called or known by a different name.
