I wish to trace a Farrell Family from Queens County..
They are recorded in the UK 1861 Census at No. 5 Halls Yard in the Parish of St. Mary's, Nottingham.
The family are James Farrell and his wife Anne aged 72 (abt 1798) and the daughters Catherine aged 42 (abt 1819) and Mary aged 40 (abt 1821) and Grandson James Farrell aged 12 (abt 1849). All except the Grandson are recorded as born in Queens County and the grandson is recorded as born in Lancashire.
I assume that the grandson's father is likely to be brother of both Catherine (1819) and Mary (1821), therefore also born in Queens County and that his parents may reside elsewhere in England.
Trusting you can be of assistance

I went to http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/search/tab/home.jsp and searched for James Farrells in Queens County and received 10 records but actually with dropping duplicates there are actually six unique records. There is a good possibility that your James is one of the six. if you repeat the search, you can see the actual records.

Roger,
Thank you very much.
I have searched Findmypast.co.uk and I also get 6 records in Lanceshire for the grandson James Farrell (1848 to 1849), but I am stuck on both the father and mothers names.
I assume I am now down to the chance of somebody from your 6 having worked on their family, seeing this message and either ruling a match in or out.
Once agian thanking you
Regards.
