The 1821-1851 census returns were almost destroyed in a fire, the 1861-1891 census returns were destroyed by the Government. The 1901-1911 census returns are available on line free of charge on line on the National Archives of Ireland website.


Ballybrood and its history.

BALLYBROOD, a parish, in the Barony of Clanwilliam, Diocese of Emly and County of Limerick.,
This parish, which is situated on the road from Cahirconlish to Herbertstown. Ballybrood Watchtower is an historic building located on the summit of a hill. This was military station in the 1800sメ. Today it is a popular tourist attraction.
