    Hi Mark,

    www.rootsireland,ie has the baptismals records for Bruff. ( there is a daily or monthly rate for this site.)

    After a quick search, i have found the marriage entry for Laurence's parents John Rourke and Ellen Lundon in 1833 and the baptisms for him and his 5 siblings. 

    Civil regisration started in 1864

    www.irishgenealogy.ie is where you will find them. This site is free.
