I'm looking to find some more information about my x2 great-grandmother Mary Finn's (nee Walsh) family. Mary married William Finn in Milford church, 1851. She was born about 1827, it is presumed in the Milford parish ( although family lore has it this family came from Cloncrew). Although I haven't been able to find any baptism record for her in this area, I have it on solid information that she belongs to the following family; that were baptised in Milford parish:-
Edmund Walsh & Mary Canty were parents of:
Bridget bapt. Oct 1st 1828
Edmund bapt. Aug. 19th 1831
Catherine bapt. 17th Feb. 1834
Ellen bapt. 2nd July 1836
Bridget emmigrated to America before Sept. 1853 and married Andrew Stulz.
Ellen married Dan Sharpe of Liscarroll.
The following people were sponsors for the baptisms of the eight children of William Finn and Mary Walsh:
Edmond Pigott
Ellen Walsh
Philip O Connell
Catherine Walsh
Thomas Finn
Hannah O Connor
Maurice Walsh
Mary Driscol
John Finn
David Finn
Mary Canty
Denis Connors
Mary Pigott (sp Pegott).
The following people were sponsors for the baptisms of the children of Dan Sharpe and Ellen Walsh:
Edmundus Walsh
Maria Sharp
Mauritius Walsh
Maria McMahon
Lawrence Morton
Catherine Sharpe
James Clehane
Margaret Finn (my gr-grand-aunty)
Edmund Finn (my gr-grandfather)
Anne O Connor
Anne Maria Sharp
Thomas Canty
Kate O Connor
James Culhane
Bridget O Connor
Dionysius Connors
Anna Sharp
If there's anybody who can find more information on Mary or any other members of this Walsh family, I would be most grateful.

Hi Edward
Thank you for your message. Please have a look at the following links and hopefully they may be of some assistance to you. I will also ask our local historian who I will be speaking with later in the week. Regards Doreen.

Dear Doreen,
Very many thanks for your helpful links and planning to talk to the local historian.
The link to the Shandram graveyard is good - this is where I believe a number of my Walsh family are buried (Mary Walsh Finn is buried there with her husband Edmond it would seem).
Also Deliga is of interest as it has graves of descendants of another likely brother (Maurice Walsh) to my x2 gr-grandmother. Sarah Canty nee Culhane would be his granddaughter.
I have corresponded with a descendant of this particular family - Donal Canty - formerly of the Post Office, Liscarroll - whom I'm sure you know. I believe he had looked at the same baptism registers at Milford of the children of Edmund Walsh and Mary/Margaret Canty. Donal informed me that it was family lore these Walshes came from Cloncrew orginally.
Another relative of mine Karen Rogers has posted on these message boards looking for information as you'll probably know on her ancestors Ellen Walsh and Dan Sharpe of Liscaroll.
Many Thanks again,
Regards,
Edward
