James Riordan & Mary Cleary had a family of at least 9 children in knockainey.

Margaret Riordan was born in 1818.

Elizabeth Riordan was born in 1819

Daniel Riordan was born in 1820

Mary (Maria) Riordan was born in 1821 in Knockainy, Limerick, Ireland and I think she may have travelled to the US and married Morgan.

Michael Riordan was born in 1823.

James Riordan was born on 18 Sep. 1827 in Bottomstown, Limerick, Ireland and died Before 1901 in Bottomstown, Limerick, Ireland. James is my ancestor and went on to marry Deborah Cooke on 17 Jan 1855 in KNOCKAINEY.

Catherine Claire Riordan was born in 1829 in Knockainy, Limerick, Ireland and died on 24 Oct. 1917 in Brooklyn, Kings, New York, USA. She married Armistead Mason Pomeroy.

John Riordan was born in 1830. I believe he travelled to the US with Maria & Catherine in 1850.

Simon Riordan was born in 1832. A man in the right age group died as a result of injuries taken as a watchman of Limerick docks in 1888 but there were several Simon Riordans of that age so I do not know if this is my man.

Would greatly appriciate any info on any of these people and their descendants and ancestors.
