John Smithwick - born 1830 - my Great grandfather
Catherine Bradshaw - John's second wife - my great grandmother
Mary Connell - John's mother
Michael Smithwick - John's father
John Bradshaw - Catherine's father
Margaret Grady - Catherine's Mother
I visited this parish back in the late 1980's for the purpose of finding my grandmother's place of birth and spent hours in the cemetery lookfing for my ancestors graves and found them!!
My cousin had visited before and had shown me pics of the house where my grandmother was born. It is a large white house on a hill. Most all of my ancestors are from Ireland, but the Smithwick/ Bradshaw family is the one side of the family where I have most of the information.
Does anyone there recall the family names?
I was very grateful that the parish priest and secertary were kind enough to send me notarized copies of birth and marriage certificates after my visit there.

Hi Georgia,
Is there anything in particular that you would like to know? Let me know if you would like to find out more information about your family history. If so, please include as much information as you know in your message.
Please make sure you link anyone else in your family who is interested in their Irish heritage to our site - and indeed anyone else you know of Irish heritage.
Kind regards,

Hi Sinead,
I have been on and off the ancestry search due to time constraints. I would like to go farther back and see what information I can find on other members of the family, as in great great granparents.
I found info on my Mom's side just recetly with the help of Ireland Reaching Out. I am so grateful that you are offereing this help.
