Hello,
Looking for any information about Patt Mulvey (born around 1850???) and married to Rose Toole. Their daughter Mary F. Mulvey was born around the 30th of October, 1870 in Dunbeggan, County Longford. We think she arrived in New York in 1888. Ultimately she married Peter Flood, a man who was born in Stradone, Cavan.

The important clue in your message is Dunbeggan, a townland in Colmcille parish in north Longford. I infer from that information that either or both parents were from Colmcille. If Rose Toole was a native then the marrige was there since it is normal for a wedding to take place in the bride's parish. Due to the uncertainty about this point, your best option is to contact Longford Genealogy Centre, which has a database of all church records. They may chrge a fee for a search, but you can clarify this on making contact. The email address is longroot@iol.ie.
