Thank you for your response, got rid of the other messages and the Athboy one by accident. Thank you for finally confirming Edward's date of death! Just a question - I am unsure of who their parents are. On their marriage record from Scrabby, it doesn't list any parents for either. Is there any other record that may list this information?

For some reason, there is no civil marriage record which would have shown the names of the fathers of the bride and groom.

Thanks Roger, much appreciated. I'm at a dead end with Bridget (way too many Brady's) and for some reason Edward Tuite isn't showing up anywhere - is it possible most Tuite's were born in Meath or Westmeath instead of Longford? On the family plot in Granard there is a headstone that says Philip tuite born 174- died 1822 and his son Patrick born 1778 died 1829 both of Granard, Longford. Thinking Philip may be the great grandfather of Edward or something similar

I can't answer the question about births but the Griffiths Valuation from the mid-19th century, shows more Tuite households in Meath and Westmeath compared to Longford. Go to this site and check the spread by county. http://www.swilson.info/sdist.php

Thank you Richard! Looks they were married/on the census record for the Scrabby parish district (Cavan/Longford) so I may have been looking in the wrong direction

They come from Kells, Meath (the furthest back records) & the children were born in Tullaghaustown, Kilskeer, Trim & Meath from the births I've found records of to date.
