Hello, I would appreciate any information you can provide for my family history. I’m doing my family tree and discovered I have ancestors from Ardee. I found a marriage registration for my great-grandparents, Matthew Duff and Catherine Lynch dated 1909. It states he was from Woodtown, Ardee and she was from Syddan, Ardee. I searched on irishgenealogy.ie and ancestry.co. I think I found his birth registration but I’m finding it more difficult to find hers. I found a birth registration for a Catherine Lynch in Ardee dated 1889. The age is appropriate because she was aged 21 in marriage registration. However the fathers name is Owen and in the marriage registration it is Michael. Could you suggest any other research methods?

If anyone has any more suggestions please let me know. I'm still wondering why Catherine Lynch's fathers name would be different on the birth and marriage registrations, if they are the same person.
