I have found reference to the above surnames in places referrred to as Blakestown and/or Millextown. Can anyone advise if these are in fact, located in the Ardee area?

Blakestown (Shanlis parish) is definitely in the Ardee area. Can't find a Millextown. There is a Milestown but that townland is a couple parishes to the east of Ardee. Not sure if that is the townland you are looking for.

Likely Millextown is old spelling for Millockstown. Some detail of old churches there and elsewhere in Louth at http://stonecircle.bravehost.com/tours/2010/louthchurches.html

I just realized I never thanked you for the wonderful link you sent me, allowing me to view some of the old churches in County Louth ...where were my manners?
