Ellen Gallagher most likely from Derra Co. Mayo born circa 1840's married John Walsh from Doodane, Co. Mayo in 1861 after his first wife mary Gallagher died in 1860 most likely in child birth. We do not know if Mary and Ellen were related. Ellen went on to have children: Edwared 1862-1917, Michael 1864-1952 (Chicago), Anthony 1866-1901, Catherine 1867-1936, Thomas 1870, Peter 1872-1926 (Chicago), Mary 1874-1944, Martin 1876, James 1879.
Ellen died in 1899 in Doodane, Keenagh. Any information on this family in particular Ellen and where and who her parents, siblings etc would be most helpful.

I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and the earliest Ellen Gallagher baptismal record in Crossmolina RC parish was on September 2 1845 and likely too late for someone who married in 1861. Also, there are no baptismal records available for Crossmolina from August 1841-April 1845
I did not find the marriage record for Mary Gallagher and John Walsh. I looked for Mary Gallagher baptismal records in Crossmolina RC church and there were two possibilities:
Mary Gallagher baptized October 9 1831 (born October 3) father Patrick Gallagher mother Mary McDonnell
Mary Gallagher baptized August 25 1834 (born August 24) father Patrick Gallagher mother Celia Gallagher.
I note that none of the children of John and Ellen were named Patrick.
