Barrett / Gaughan / Scanlon / Brennan

Hello!

I'm looking for any info on Thomas F. Barrett (born abt 1845), his father Edward (born abt 1820) and mother Napla Ellen Gaughan (unknown birth date, died in Mayo).  Thomas had a full sibling, Mary (born abt 1846).  Napla may have been Welsh.

Thomas left for the US in the 1860s, and his father Edward left about a year later with his new wife (Mary O'Malley / Malley) and their children.

Thomas's wife was also born there.  Bridget McGuiness (born about 1854 but could be a few years earlier - age differs on censuses) - father is Patrick, mother possibly Hannah/Honora/Anna Dixon - her first name differs on censuses, too.

Another branch is Thomas Scanlon (1850s) and his wife Catherine/Katherine Brennan (1850s).

Anything new would be amazing!  I've hit a roadblock, but would love to know more.
