Hello from Chicago,

I am looking for a Max Derrig who is/was in the New Zealand Armed Forces.  He visited his cousins in Moyhastin in the summer of 2016 but no one there took down any of his information.

Here is the family History:

Margaret nee Conway married Patrick Derrig about 1851.  They begot 3 Children:  Patrick (1852), John, and Thomas (1858).

Patrick Derrig married Annie nee Walsh.  They begot 4 children:  Bridget 91880), Michael (188201962), Patrick (1885) and Thomas (1892-1979).  Patrick emigrated to Australia.  Thomas Derrig married Margaret nee Moore (1900-1991).

They begot 7 Chidlren:  Michael known as Sam (1922-1979), Thomas (1924-2004), Patrick (1926-2006), Ann Mary (1928-2016), Breege/Bridie (1932), Anthony know as Tony (1936) and Brendan (1938).

I believe Max Derrig is descended from Patrick (1926-2006).

If anyone has informatin on the Derrig Families, I would like to hear from them.

All the best,  Patrick (Paddy) Savage
