Margaret Sharkey

Any help in finding information on Margaret Sharkey. Family stories indicate she might have come from here(Shrule) Born abt 1866. She married my Grandfather Thomas Hannan in Stockton on Tees,Co.Durham,England 1889. He was the first of my family born in England 1865, so his family must have come to England prior to that as according to the English Census's all his siblings were born in Ireland with no County or Parish indicated.

    Thank you so much for your quick and friendly response. I've been tearing my hair out trying to get info about my families roots but to no avail. I came to your "Reaching Out" site through the Clan Hannan Site in the USA so I am now hoping to make some progress. My wife and I are over to Galway and Mayo for a few days in August so I hope I can make more enquiries.
