I am interested in connecting with McHale, Cunnigham families in County Mayo, Turlough and surrounding area Parishes.  These families came from the townlands of Cloonkesh.  My grandmother Bridget/Beatrice (McHale) Reilly emigrated from Ireland 1908 on the SS Cymric out of Queenstown (Cobh).  She came alone at age 19 destination cousin Cath. A. Cunningham's in Stoneham Massachusetts just outside of Boston.  Settling in Boston, Massachusetts for the remainder of her life passing away in 1981 at the age of 92.  My grandmother was Bridget/Beatrice, born in 1889, her parents were Thomas McHale and Eliza (McHale), Her siblings were, Martin, Maria (Marion), John, Margaret, Annie, James, Eliza, in that birth order. Thomas and Eliza according 1911 Cencus had 11 children born, 9 alive at the time census, I am unable to account for the ninth child. Beatrice (McHale) Reilly and Husband John are interred in famous Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston Massachusetts, USA.

Hopefully you belong to Facebook. Our parish liasion for Turlough (Dympna Joyce) runs the Mayo Genealogy Group on Facebook. It is a closed group but you can ask to join the group. I would then post your interests and hopefully will hear back.
