I am looking for information on a Susan Eileen Lynch, born circa 1892-96 in Castlepollard, to father Philip. She had a sister Rose A Lynch, born circa 1885. They both went to the UK and Susan Eileen married a man named Cecil Amey circa 1921 in London. Cannot find a civil birth record for her, and records in NLI only go up to 1880. Can anyone help please? That is all the information we have, other than she may have come from a large family, don't know her mother's name.
Thanks

Castlepollard is in Co. Westmeath rather than Co. Meath. I looked for the family in the 1901 census with no success but did locate a 20 year old Rose Lynch who was a servant in one of the houses in Castlepollard. Not sure if this is a different Rose Lynch since she was older than an 1885 birth. Any other information? I did not find a civil birth index record for Susan.

Roger,
Many thanks for your post regarding Susan Eileen Lynch, Castlepollard. As I could not find the Castlepollard listed under Westmeath on this website, I thought maybe try Meath?? Perhaps Castlepollard comes under Mullingar??? Unfortunately I have no other information on her other than an approximate date of birth, as she gave two different dates of birth on various later documentation in UK. I did note the entry for Rose Lynch in Castlepollard when searching for them, but thanks for the link. Thanks for your quick response, very much appreciated! Will try Mullingar and see what happens!

Castlepollard is in Rathgarve civil parish in Co. Westmeath. I should have mentioned that fact in my first post. I have a feeling that the Lynch family may have been in England by 190. Did you try looking at the 1901 English census?

Hi
Just wondering if you found information about Susan and Rose Lynch?
I tried and failed to find a birthplace nor family details...other than those you mention.
