Is the science of Ta's ringfort. The population of the parish stands at 7249 according to the census in 2006. The town lieson the banks of the meadow river.
Fairyhouse racecourse is situated on the outskirts of Ratoath where the event happens every April called the Irish Grand National.
This town was founded by Saint Patrick dating back to the 13th century along with Eoin MacNeill.
