I know they were married in Kileevan, Clones, Couny Monaghan in 1842. I am looking for information on their parents names, and the marriage certificate. Thank you.

Margie:
I assume your ancestors were Church of Ireland. Civil registration of non-RC marriages started in 1845 so only church records would be available. According to this listing https://www.ireland.anglican.org/cmsfiles/pdf/AboutUs/library/registers…; baptismal and marriage records for the Church of Ireland parish of Killeevan go back to 1811 and are held at the Representative Church Body Library https://www.ireland.anglican.org/about/rcb-library There is no central database of the RCB records. You would have to pay someone to search the Killeevan records for baptismal records for Matilda Williamson and John Richmond.

Margie: I am interested in your query because my great great grandfather Oliver Williamson was, I believe, born in Clones and possibly Killeevan in 1798. He emigrated to Upper Canada, specifically to Cavan Township in 1822 after a 3 year stay in Kingston. He was the 7th son of a 7th son. We do know he emigrated with an older brother, Thomas. Other brothers we have no records. I am interested in knowing any information you find out about Matilda Williamson. Bruce Williamson, Port Hope, Ontario, Canada. .
