It's two to three years since my last inquiry, so I thought I would try again, as maybe some old records would have come to light.

I had found John and Jane Wiggins had christen two children in 1723, January, 23. This was information that is on Ancestry.com the names of the boys are James and Willm, may or may not be twins, did not give name of church.  James went on to marry and lease land in 1750 for 3 lives or 30 years from Thomas Verner, found that record in Proni.  What I am seeking are the records of where James lived, what he did, who he married, name of his children, I believe one was named Samuel, just need verification of this.  He is my 4th grandfather and fought in the American Revolutionary War.  Is there somewhere that I can attain this infomation without it costing me an arm and a leg, this is my history it does not belong to anyone else.

Welcome back to Ireland Reaching Out!

I don't hold much hope for records going back that far. You don't mention the religion of the family. RC records start later but possibly Church of Ireland records may be available. I would contact the Anglican Diocese in Clogher.

You may also want to contact the library in Clones to see if they have any suggestions.
