My greatgrandfather James Cassidy b. 1835, worked on the Dartrey Estate. Looking for a marriage, his baptism, his parents. From available records, child Patrick b 1871 in Kilmore. Charlotte Marron b 1854. Next child James b 1876, Anna b 1877, Mary b 1879, Catherine b1882, Michael b 1885, John b 1888, Peter b 1890 and Francis b 1892. Charlotte died in 1895 and James died 1902. Peter (My grandfather) and his brother Francis were brought to USA after father died by their brother James

If James was born in Ematris parish, you may be able to find a birth/marriage certificate in the parish records. His baptismal cert will have his parents? names. Do you know what religious denomination the family were?
Most Catholic records are held locally. One website which may be useful is the irishtimes where they give an overview of what records are available in specific parishes. For Ematris parish, follow this link:
