Looking for info on Francis Turner and his parents

I have searched as many sources as I can find (online) but have been stuck at this: --->

Looking for information on Francis (Frank) Turner's Irish place of birth, and any information on his parents that can be found.  

Frank was born in 1846 in Ireland but I do not know where.  Family lore says Kilkenny or Waterford, but I cannot prove that.  

Parents are:  William Turner and Anne McGee (or Magee). William born in Ireland and died in Ontario, Canada. (can't find dates).    Anne Magee b. 1811 d. 1894  

Parents must  have been married in Ireland before 1846.??

Parents must have emigrated from Ireland between 1846 and 1855.? (Since another child, Patrick, was born in Ontario in 1855).

Frank emigrated to Canada (I assume as a child, with his parents).   He married Catharine Welsh in 1872 in Ontario.

Can anyone help point me in a direction to find more info about these ancestors?   And, thanks.
