Hello,
I'm looking for anyone who could help me further my research on my gg-grandfather, Thomas Lester (Thomas Lyster in baptismal info.-Ossory Diocese), who was born in Seirkieran, Offaly County, in 1843 to Paul Lyster and Johanna Moloy, sponsors: Rev. M or W O'Keefe and Mary Lyster (Breaghmore). His sister, Bridget, was baptised in 1838 and, again her parents are listed as Paul Lyster and Johanna Molloy, sponsors: Patt Downy and Margaret Molloy (Clareen). There's a third child listed in the baptismal info. of 1845 but the child's name is not given but now the parents are listed as Paul Lester and Johanna Molloy, sponsors: Mi?? Heenan and Sally Lester (Clareen). Thomas Lester (spelling he used here in the US) said he left Ireland as a child but I can't find any immigration information for him. He also said he had two sisters that they called Dark Kate and Light Kate. I'm trying to find any family back in Ireland that might have more info. on our ancestors. Unfortunately, I don't know the names of Paul Lester's nor Johanna Molloy's parents' names nor those of any of their siblings.
Thanks for any assistance.

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I did not find any more baptismal records but Roots Ireland di have the marriage record in 1837. See transcription below. They were married in Eglish parish which is to the north of Seirkieran.
I also found an 1833 Tithe record for a Bridget Lyster in Breaghmore (see below). Possibly she was Paul's mother or another relative.

Hello Roger and thank you for the info. Sorry I haven't responded sooner but I've been unable to follow-up with research until now. I appreciate you taking the time to respond. The marriage record is a nice addition to my research.
