Hi, Kathy, the Boyle RC reg has baptism of John Cryan 1820, son of Paul Cryan and wife Mary Dyer. Could be your John, altho i can't say there weren't others in the same time period. (I was looking for Dyers, not Cryans.) This John had siblings Anna 1819, Michael 1825, Brigida 1826, Michael "Crine" bp. 3/38/1830, and Peter "Crian" bp. 8/11/1833.
Tithe Applotments have a Robert Cryan in Deerpark townland, Boyle parish, 1833. My Dyer family also lived in Deerpark (still does, in fact, but under another surname). There was also a Robert in Knockarush, a Roger in Lugnamuddagh, a Robert in Warren, and a Michael in Ballynanultagh.
