I'm seeking information about my 5th-great-grandparents. Their names were Mary (Mariam?) Nowlan (Nolan?) and David Fitzmaurice. Mary was born around 1801 in Strokestown, Roscommon; David born around 1796 in Mayo. I found a reference that they were married on 14 Feb 1819 in the Catholic church at "Laughlin, Roscommon." I also found a very poor quality (low resolution) image of the actual parish register (attached), but can't read most of it.
I'm at a loss regarding this family, and am hoping that there will be some parish records that may shed some light on this, particularly the correct spelling of the names, information about where they lived, their parents, etc.

Hello again!
As I expected the register was in Latin. The good news is that they lived in Lecarrow townland in Tibohine civil parish.
Beyond that the record is telling you that David Fitzmaurice and Mary Nowlan were married and the witness were Pat Lowry and possibly Pat Flower. The second name is problematic in the register.
Usually, older parish register records would not show a townland so you have additional info. Did they leave Ireland or remain for awhile and had children?

Thank you very much for the information, and so quickly! Yes, they had several children born in Ireland. Their children were John (born 1818, though due to marriage date this date of birth is in question), Peter (born 1820, married about 1855 to Nancy Ann Judge in Ballyhaunis, Mayo), Ellen (born 1822), Thomas (born about 1823?, this is my 4th-great-grandfather), Sarah (born 1824), and Mary (born 1826). I have pretty much NO information about Ellen, Sarah, or Mary. Peter did not leave Ireland, and died there. Thomas came to the United States and settled here. While Peter was my 5th-great-uncle, I have quite a bit of information on his family (children Thomas John b. 1855, Ellen b. 1859, Mary b. 1860, Catherine b. 1864, and Patrick Michael b. 1865, all born in or near Ballyhaunis).
