Hello there,
I am looking for Joannis Brennan, b. abt 1753 Strokestown, m. Dorathea Power, Strokestown and had
3 children, Dionicium 1796, Elizabetham 1797 and Hugonem 1801.
Elizabetham married James Furey who was born 1799. His father & mother were Joannes and Mary Furey
(Mylan). They lived in Tulsk Road Roscommon. I am trying to research both families.
The other Furey family in Tulsk Road were, Bernard and Audrey Furey (Ridley 1867).
They had two sons, Bernie and Christopher Furey. Not related as far as I know.

Unfortunately, there are very few church records in Roscommon back to the early 19th century. The Strokestown RC records start in 1830. I searched Roots Ireland www.rootsireland.ie and I did locate a James Furey marriage in 1830 in Strokestown but Elizabeth and Brennan did not work for the spouses name so I presume this was a different James Furey.
Roots is a pay site to view a transcription of a church record.
I also looked at the Tithe listings for Furey/Fury and Brennan but did not locate a record that fits your information. You may want to take a look at that file.
