Rogerson

My Rogerson great grandfather Robert, lived in Mullymuck about 1850 with his wife Julia Leonard and at least 10 children.  Most of them survived to emigrate to New York.  His eldest son James was baptized in the Parish of Kilbride in 1846. His youngest son Michael was born in the town of Elphin in 1864. His son Patrick married Margaret Heavihan in Ogulla/Tuslk about 1873.  A daughter Mary was born to Patrick in 1874 but died before they emigrated.  Patrick and Margaret were in NY for the 1875 census. The rest of the family emigrated during the 1876-1882 period.  

There are many Irish Rogersons in New York and Massachusetts from Counties Galway and Roscommon.  Hoping to make a connection between them all.  Have been unable to find records for most of my family (destroyed or missing) so am hoping someone might have a very long memory.
