Daniel McGowan Born Roscommon Abt 1841

My GGF Daniel McGowan was born abt 1840 in Roscommon, but I don't know the townland.  His father's name was either Dominic or Thomas McGowan (hard to read the father's given name on Daniel's marriage cert).  I know that Daniel had a brother called "Harry."  I am wondering if Daniel was born in Tumna Parish, as there were three McGowan families living there in 1857/58, per Griffith's Valuation.

In the 1901 Census of Roscommon, the following McGowan family was living in Tumna South Parish: Edward McGowan, age 50, and his wife, Mary, age 36. I'm wondering if Edward might have been a younger brother of Daniel or perhaps a cousin?

Any help in locating the townland where Daniel McGowan was born in Roscommon would be so much appreciated.
