Hello,
I am interested to hear from any McDonnell's originating/still living in the Aclare area of Sligo.
My great grandfather Thomas McDonnell was born there in 1859, and left to go to England around 1880.
His father Patrick Mcdonell was a farmer, I have traced his farm through the Griffins valuation to Aclare

Griffiths has 2 Patrick McDonnell households in the Aclare area. One in Belclare. The other in Claddagh.
There was still a family in Belclare in 1901:

None in Claddagh by 1901.
