Birth Place of James Joseph O'Donnell

I am strying to track down the birth place of my great grandfather.

His name was James Joseph O'Donnell and he was born on March

25, 1875 possibly in Sligo County. I don't know what parish or town

he came from.  He immigrated to the United States through Liverpool

leaving May 7, 1897 and arrived in New York May 15, 1897 on the

SS Campania at the age of 22.  There is a town listed on his 

naturalization papers but it is hard to read because it has been written 

through a couple of times.  My father had been told that he came

from Sligo but that's all he knows.

The only other information that has been passed down was that his

family could have owned a farm or he could have worked on a farm.

Any help would be appreciated.
