My grandmother, Bridget Burke born in Tipperary around 1876 (Father Thomas Burke, Mother unknown) married Andrew Lonergan, born 1873 ( Father James Lonergan) Dohill, Tipperary, Ireland were married 19 Dec. 1896 in Prestwich, Lancashire, England. 

For 25 years I have been searching for Bridget birth date. Any help would be appreciated.

    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out and apologies for the delay in getting back to you!

    I have looked on rootsireland.ie and there are 9 baptism/birth records for a child Bridget born to a father Thomas Burke around the period you refer to. As this is a subscription site, I am limited in what I can see.

    However, I see you say that you have been searching for a number of years for details about Bridget's birth, so you may have already searched these records. It may be the case that Bridget was born in a parish and at a time that predates the parish records. Although civil registration began in 1864 (generally speaking) not all births were registered.

    Have a look at the above (you could also search for free on familysearch.org)and let me know what you think
