My Carey(Keary)/Tracey/McDoole ancestors appear to have emigrated from the Bournea (Couraguneen)/Derrymore/Roscrea area in the 1850- mid 1860's. I have read/heard stories of Irish landowners during this time frame of evicting renters and demolishing homes, primarily through legal action.I also have heard that there were companies that recruited people to emigrate (to the US). Are there (existing?) records/reports of such happenings in Northern Tipperary(Bourney or Roscrea)?
