  • I am interested in finding more information on John Teefey born 1829 Tipperary Co and lived near Newport.  He married Elizabeth Ahern in 1845 (or some records say O'Hearn)  also born in Tipperary, Nov 18, 1820, and died 1903.  Elizabeth's mother was Ann Gleeson married to Daniel O'Hearn.  Baptismal records have the name Ryan as witnesses.  The three names Teefey, Gleeson and Ryan are listed as having cemetery headstones.  Is there any other information of record that could be found regarding the tombstones.  I believe John Teefey's father would have been born around 1813 or 1816.
