Hi,
My great great grandmother was Catherine Horan who emigrated to Australia in 1854 on the ship Switzerland at the reported age of 18. Her sister Bridget was on the same ship (age 14 years). Both were said to be farm servants from Castletown, Tipperary. Their parents were Patrick Horan and Bridget Hickey according to Catherine's death certificate (but Mary Hickey according to her marriage certificate in 1858). The death certificate said Catherine was born in Tipperary. A daughter's birth certificate gives Catherine's year of birth as 1835. That is all I know.
cheers, John

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I searched on Roots Ireland and Find My Past and did not find possible baptismal records for Catherine and Bridget.
The Griffiths Valuation was conducted in Co. Tipperary around 1850. I don't know if Patrick Horan was alive and leasing land but if he was he may be one of the seven listed below.
Let me know if you have any questions. You may want to consider autosomal DNA testing.
