I am trying to figure out exactly where this location is from the 1821 census. Is it possible? I’ve attached the record.

I believe Kilavally would have been a local place name in 1821. I think you will find that the official townland would be Benamore in the civil parish of Roscrea in Co. Tipperary. Here is the 1850 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Roscrea civil parish in Tipperary. Note Margaret Cantwell in Benamore. There are other surnames you can track from the 1821 census to the 1850 Griffiths. https://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths/tipperary/roscrea.htm

I found this as well, listing all of the Cantwells. But it shows them to be In Offaly, not Tipperary.

Benamore is just to the west of Roscrea town center in Co. Tipperary. There is a civil parish of Roscrea in Co. Tipperary and a very small civil parish of Roscrea in Co. Offaly. Likely there were some boundary changes subsequent to 1821. Also, townlands were not standardized until the 1851 census.

I should have said east of Roscrea town. Sorry!

Kilavelly aka Killivilly is now spelled KILLAVILLA and is located just north-east of Roscrea town. Here is the exact location of Killavilla townland.
Hope this helps!

Thank you so much. I had found that town and wondered if that could be it.
