I’m looking for any information on the following:

Edward/Edmond Hackett (born abt 1835- his death certificate states Cork) 

Rebecca Kelly (born abt 1835)

They were married: 01 March 1857 in the town of Tipperary.     They left right after they were married to New York.   
 

Edward possible family member/sister?  , Catherine, born about 1840.    Rebecca possible family member/sister?   Margaret.  
 

any help would be greatly appreciated!

    I assume you do not know the parents names for Edmund and Rebecca? I searched unsuccessfully for an Edmund/Edmond/Edward Hackett baptismal record in Co. Cork.

    Absent parents names, you may want to consider DNA testing. You may get matches with 3rd or 4th cousins who may have more info on your Hackett and Kelly families.

  • Thanks Roger, I appreciate your taking time to look.  .   I have no idea the parents names.   I have done DNA from ancestry and 23 and me.   But so far, no connections.    Hopefully someday, I’ll be able to further this road block.
