Is situated 2 miles from Stewart's-town and is close to the village of Moneymore. Its also one-side of Lough Neagh. There are a lot of dairy farms. The main sources of fuel is coal. There are different types of rock including Limestone, Freestone, Basalt and Quartz, many plants that are from different origin grow in these areas.


The parish is situated on Lough Neagh. the lands are mainly under tillage, there are about 15 acres of woodland and 20 acres of bog.

In 1792 the glebe house was built with help from the Board of First Fruits to the value of ᆪ100.

There are four schools with an attendance of about 230 boys and 200 girls, there is also one private school where about 30 children attend.
