My 2X great grandfather was a man named Henry Hagan. He was born in about 1800 (maybe up til 1803). He immigrated to the USA in April 1848. He brought my 2x great grandmother, Mary Ann Loughran (and her two sisters, one of whom was pregnant) with him. Mary Ann was about 30 years his junior. Ultimately he married Mary Ann and they had 4 children in the states. I have been wondering how this man came to be bringing three young sisters to the states, and have created a scenario in my head but want to know the real story. I believe that in 1827, Henry Hagan was living in Creevagh townland (there is a Henry Hagan in Creevagh in the Tithe Applotment book) and Michael Loughran (who I believe to be mary Ann's father) was living in Unagh townland.
Is there any chance that anyone can find a link between the Hagans and Loughrans in the mid 1840s that might help me figure out how these two came to be together?

There is a baptism record of Henry Hagan 1800 in Armagh on www.rootsireland.ie/
The records cost to view but should have his father's name and the parish.
There are 15 Mary Loughrans born 1830 + - 5 years in Armagh and 153 born in Armagh with no years specified!
There are 4 Mary Loughrans with father Michael born in Armagh but no Mary Anns and none in the right year: Mary 1804 Mary Margaret 1853 Mary 1862 & Mary Catherine 1880
The Hagan family tree on ancestry has Henry born in Armagh & marrying Alice M Loughran but rootsireland has only 1900 & 1907 as birth years for Alice with father Michael in Armagh. There are 25 others whose fathers are not Michael.
