Looking for relatives of James Hamilton and Patricia Babbington

James Hamilton seems to appear many times on the Griffith's Valuation usually as the landlord but also as a renter. There could be more than one person by that name. Some of the people he rented to are named McCrossan. My gg grandparents from Newtownstewart had a daughter who married into the McCrossan family.

I didn't check all of them but I didn't see any actually in Newtownstewart.

The parish to search in is Ardstraw. Some of the results that showed up were in other parishes.

Hi - I'm a descendant of James Babbington Hamilton. My mother's maiden name was Hamilton. She was the only child of James (Jim) and Eileen Hamilton. He had a brother Frank Gordon Hamilton killed in WW1 in France on 5 October 1918.

We know very little of mother's family so any information you have would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Peter, 

We are cousins. My great grandfather was James Babbington Hamilton, my maternal grandmother, Maud's father. I am actually hoping to travel to France later this year to see the area where our great uncle Frank died. 

I hope we can get in touch further.
