Edward McCollough who lived in the Owenkillew River Valley (around Plumbridge, Gortin, & Greencastle) married a McBride c.1778. They had two sons who immigrated to Quebec, Canada, from Derry, Ireland in March of 1815:

1. Patrick McCollough b.a. 1782 married in 1812 Bridget Brennin/Brennen. They had a son named Barney born in Ireland

2. Edward McCollough

Bridget Brennin's parents were named Barney Brennin and Kate (Katherine?) Machlone/Mucklehone. Barney died before 1832 when Kate immigrated with her son John.
