Hi looking for anyone who could find some information on the Mckenzie Family of Drumdeng County Tyrone. Abraham and Margaret nee Mclaughlin Mckenzie had four sons and one daughter. Two of the songs Abraham jr and Robert Mckenzie came to New Zealand and settled to Oteramika Invercargill New Zealand . Abraham never married and died 03 of Feb 1910 In Woodlands New Zealand he was born 1838.
Robert was born in 1843 and he married Jane Drake they had 10 Children two of the daughters Ellen and Elizabeth died of Rheumatic Fever. Robert and Jane's Daughter Annie Married William Pirie and they had eight chidren

I could not find any reference to a Drumdeng in Co. Tyrone. However I did find a townland called Drumderg..could this possibly be the place you are looking for? A useful website for Irish Placenames is http://www.logainm.ie/
