Am  searching for decendants of my Great Grandfather, Joseph P. Gallagher. He was born in Kilmoleran,  Waterford around 1850.  He  came to the USA around 1860, thru Ellis Island.  Moved to Colorado  sometime in the 1880's.  Married a Catherine Tobin Dawson in Silver Plume, Colorado. Had a daughter and a son. Became a State Senator, from Clear Creek County,CO.Also went to mine in Leadville,CO. Was killed in a mining accident in 1900, in Leadville.  If  anyone has any  information,my E  mail  is Georgetown1951@gmail.com.

  • Thank you, Cyn. Don't know much more about my Great Grandfather. All my relatives are dead. So nobody to ask questions. Just know the above info.  Wish I knew more. Also wonder if I have any relatives left in Ireland???  Mary, Luck of the Irish.
