Looking for information on the descendants of Richard Farrell and Catherine Walsh. They married in Cappoquin in 1830. They had 4 children that I know of, Catherine 1834, John 1836 Lismore, Richard 1838 Lismore, and Edward, my great grandfather, 1841 Lismore.

I know definitely Catherine, Richard. and Edward immagrated to the United States but I cannot find anything but a baptismal record for John or what happened the Richard and Catherine.

  • Dear Rich, Have you tried searching irishgenealogy.ie? If any of your family died in Ireland post-1864 (when civil registration of deaths was introduced) it might show up there. The civil registration district would be Lismore. Best wishes with your research,

  • Dear Rich,

although there are many Walshes and Farrels in that corner of Waterford, it is hard to decipher wh o might be related to whom. I am seeking information on a Catherine Farrell married to Thomas Walsh (1796-1866).  I have no confirmed vital statistics for her.  Doeither of these sound familiar or appear  in your research?  The resided in Townland of Tooradoo, Ballyduff District, Lismore-McCollop
